Yes, I do love listening to music, especially when I'm upset or sad. Listening to some pop or gentle songs can help put me in a better mood.
What kind of music do you listen to? Why?
Talking about my favorite music genre, I am really into pop songs or instrumentals. When I feel enthusiastic, listening to some exciting pop songs would be the best. On the other hand, when I'm feeling down, gentle instrumental music can help me relax and balance my feelings.
Has the music that you listen to changed since you were young?
Yes, it has changed a bit. Almost all of the songs I listened to when I was in primary or secondary school were in Vietnamese. But now I listen to songs in other languages, including English, Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish and even Indian.
Do you think older and younger generations prefer different types of music?
Yes, people from different generations have different tastes in music. Young people are more likely to listen to some rock and love music, while their older counterparts may be are well into some classical music or traditional music.
What kind of music that you dislike?

I really hate rock music, especially hard rock and heavy metal. I cannot understand how some people can enjoy that loud music. Besides, black metal rock songs have very negative and death-prone lyrics which can distress listeners.
