Trong bài viết này, cô sẽ tặng các em công thức để trả lời 3 dạng câu hỏi phổ biến nhất và gần như các em chắc chắn sẽ gặp trong bài thi trong bài thi IELTS Speaking Part 1.
Mỗi dạng câu hỏi, cô đều hướng dẫn các cấu trúc trả lời rất rõ ràng. Và lưu ý, dù gặp dạng câu hỏi nào, các em cũng đừng quên sử dụng Filler (từ lấp chỗ trống) và Opening phrases (các cụm từ mở đầu) nhé.
★ Filler: Well/I mean/Like/You see/You know
★ Opening phrases:
- I guess/ think/ believe
- Generall speaking
- Personally speaking
- To my knowledge = as far as I know = as far as I'm concerned

1. DẠNG CÂU HỎI WOULD
★ Cấu trúc câu trả lời:
Sử dụng câu If 2: If S + V-ed, S + would/ should/ could + V
? Ví dụ 1: What color would you like to paint your flat?
- Câu trả lời Band 6+: Well, I guess If I had to choose one color for my room, it would be blue because light colors make the space look bigger and bring out the furniture in the room.
- Câu trả lời Band 7+: You see, personally speaking, If I had to choose one color for my room, it would be blue because light colors make the space appear bigger and highlight the furniture in the room.
? Ví dụ 2: Where would you prefer listen to music, at home or in concert hall?
(live music>< recorded music) - nhạc sống, nhạc thu âm
- Câu trả lời Band 6+: You know, generally speaking, If I had to choose, it would have to be live music because I can see my favorite singers in person.
- Câu trả lời Band 7+: Well, I think, If I had to choose, it would have to be live music because I can see my favorite artists in person.
2. DẠNG CÂU HỎI HOW OFTEN
★ Cấu trúc câu trả lời:
Câu 1: …it kind of depends really/it would depend on the situation (cũng còn tuỳ)
Câu 2: Like for instance/For example, if A then it's more likely that….
Câu 3: Whereas, if B then I will….
? Ví dụ 1: How often do you go outside every week?
Câu trả lời Band 6+: I suppose it kind of depends really. For example, If I have a lot of work to do/ am snowed under with work, then it's more likely that I'll probably stay at home all week. Whereas, If I have more free time, then I will go out/ hang out with my friends twice a week.
? Ví dụ 2: How often do you use computer?
Câu trả lời Band 6+: I suppose it would depend on the situation. For example, If I am snowed under with work, then it's more likely that I'll use computer 8 hours a day to do research and find information. Whereas, if it's weekend, then I will not even touch the computer.
3. DẠNG CÂU HỎI TYPES OF
★ Cấu trúc câu trả lời:
Câu 1:
- There's quite a mixed variety of...
- There's quite a wide range of..
- There's quite an extensive diversity of...
- There's quite a diverse mixture of...
Câu 2:
- But I guess the most + adj ... would probably be...
- However, I suppose the most+ adj ... could possibly be...
? Ví dụ 1: What kind of natural sound do you love to listen to?
- Câu trả lời Band 6+: There's quite a mixed variety of natural sound that I enjoy but I like the sound of bird singing the most because it's very relaxing and it helps me sleep better.
- Câu trả lời Band 7+: There's quite a mixed variety of natural sound that I enjoy but I like the sound of bird singing the most becse it has a strong relaxing effect and improves my sleep quality.
? Ví dụ 2: What kind of advertisements you like the most?
- Câu trả lời Band 6+: There's quite a mixed variety of advertisements that I enjoy watching but fashion commercials are the most attractive to me because they have beautiful models, attractive background music and
lively images.
- Câu trả lời Band 7+: There's quite a mixed variety of advertisements that I enjoy watching but fashion commercials are the most appealing to me because they feature beautiful models, uplifting background music and lively images.
