I'm going to talk about the subject I was thoroughly fascinated by studying at school, which was English. At that time, I was in my high school years, particularly during my 10th and 11th-grade classes. English was incredibly interesting to me. It was one of the subjects that I eagerly looked forward to each day.
The lessons were engaging, and the subject matter was both diverse and thought-provoking. We delved into classic novels, contemporary fiction, poetry, and drama. These literary works not only transported me to different times and places but also introduced me to various cultures, perspectives, and human experiences. For instance, reading "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee helped me gain a deeper understanding of social issues and empathy.
There were a couple of reasons why I was so into learning English. First of all, English class encouraged me to develop critical thinking and communication skills. Analyzing texts, writing essays, and engaging in class discussions sharpened my ability to express ideas coherently and persuasively. This not only benefited me academically but also proved invaluable in my personal and professional life.
Secondly, my supportive and inspiring English teacher played a significant role in my enjoyment of the subject. She always fostered an environment where students felt comfortable sharing their interpretations and ideas.

For instance, in many elementary schools in Hanoi, kids are given a chance to provide input on their preferred deskmate at the beginning of the school year. However, the teacher considers various factors such as compatibility, learning styles, and social dynamics to ensure a harmonious classroom atmosphere. In the end, the teacher's decision is aimed at balancing students' preferences with what would work best for the overall learning environment.
3. What matters most about a colleague’s personality?
For me, the most important feature about a colleague's personality is their ability to collaborate effectively within a team. A typical example can be seen in Google staff, who are not only highly skillful but also have an incredibly supportive and respectful personality. They actively listen to others' ideas during team meetings and encourage open discussions.
