IELTS Speaking Part 1 Topic Patience

Questions 1: Are you a patient person?

Answer: It’s a case by case situation but generally speaking I’m an extremely patient person. I can be very consistent with my goals. Besides, I don’t see the point of getting all riled up for the things that are out of my control, because anger can distract me from objective and logical thinking in stressful situations.

Question 2: Do you think you are more patient now than when you were younger?

Answer: Absolutely! Especially when puberty hit and I was under a lot of pressure from my parents as well as from peers, I was cranky all the time. But now, although I have a lot more things going through my head, I've learned to get into the habit of keeping track of my thoughts by writing out everything that I have to do in order to see what makes me impatient. This will help me slow down and focus on one task at a time and remove those things that stress me out.
